You'd think I had to rent the time on this damn thing...Adam invited a bunch of total strangers into our abode on Saturday. I don't remember being consulted although he did ramble on about food quite a bit before they showed up. Still! The nerve. They were mostly quite nice though. Come to think of it, I think it's been ages since anyone came to our place. I'm just not used to it is all. But the heat. My god the heat! It was a pretty nice affair though. Lots of conversations but everybody spoke so quickly that I didn't have much of a chance to formulate any kind of response to anything. I mostly sat back and listened. I don't know what I did to deserve it but I was given fresh roasted chicken, which I think was mostly meant for all the people. That was nice! Very tasty. But when I tried to drink water in a civilized way I was shooed off the table. Hmph. Make up your mind! I have to get back to investigating some new currency trades I caught last week. The euro is taking a beating with this crazy EU vote. Vive la France and all that but come on people. We all live on the same planet. Speaking of which there was some very nice cheese on saturday as well. :) I like cheese. Oh! Quick aside: if you like cat blogs written by cats who are less busy than I am, you may enjoy this one by Abbie. She sounds pretty funny to me. And I think I know from funny.
