1990 Truck

I purchased this truck in the Fall of 1996. One of the first modifications I did to it was to put some bigger, more aggressive tires on it. I found out through a "friend of a friend" that someone was selling a set of Wild Country 33-12.50-15s for $400. All five tires were mounted on 15by8 inch "nice" aluminum wheels. Of course I jumped on the deal. After all, I was a really poor college kid, and another few weeks without food couldn't do much more harm. Sorry, I don't have any pictures of the stock truck. Why? Well, because....who'd wanna see pictures of a stock truck? The next thing I did to the truck (aside from giving it a really nice soundsystem) was to make more room for the tires that rubbed way too much. Yeah, that's right, I didn't like the three inch blocks in the back, or the ride with the cranked up torsion bars. That summer, I used more of the money I shouldn't have, and had a 4.5 inch Superlift installed. The lift has allowed me to do mo' betta' things......just like what you see below.

As you can see, I don't get much articulation from the front end (or the back, for that matter). This picture was taken with the swaybar connected. Now, that I'm a slightly more experienced wheeler, I disconnect the swaybars while playing. Other than the suspension lift and tires, here are the other mods I've made to the truck:

K&N drop in filter ~$40
1/4 inch, Superlift skidplate ~$99
Jacobs wires ~$20
Smittybilt pre-runner bar ~$175
KC Daylighters ~$99
Warn Premium manual hubs ~$180ish
Rusty Downey headers from a wrecking yard ~$150
HPC coating for headers ~$100
Custom 2.5 aluminized exhaust, custom Y-pipe, free flowing Flowmaster muffler ~$340 installed
Ten-disc Kenwood CD changer, deck, separate component speakers with tweeters mounted in side mirror templates, four-channel amp $$$ Or as they say, "Call for info."

Here's one more picture to hold you over until you feel like looking at some of the others (listed below this pic).
