'Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace,
Whose mind is stayed on thee:
because he trusteth in thee.' Isaiah 26: 3

'Peace I leave with you,
my peace I give unto you:
not as the world giveth,
give I unto you.
Let not your heart be troubled,
neither let it be afraid.' John 14:27

Unfortunately for some, they have not known the peace of God.  The  blessing that floods your soul, with one wave on another bathing the lover in peace.  A miracle, not as the world can understand.  

I searched my diary to see if I could find some  entry referring to this peace, and found one written at a time of pain and struggle.

'In the midst of all my anxious questionings and unrest,
inadequacies, fears of unpardonable sins,
 and the desire to know the complete freedom
of all terrors and demons of this world'.  I heard the Lord say 

'Be still and know that I am God.'  

Then I knew peace and the true meaning of Jehovah Jireh. 
 The  Lord will provide. 

 I heard His voice that of the shepherd and knew I was loved.

'My sheep hear my voice and I know them,
and they follow me:
I give unto them eternal life;
and they shall never perish,
neither shall any man pluck then out of my hand.
