| The Previous Mission statement was a good joke and all, but it really fails to get across the true purpose of The Shadowed Corner. Not as an in-character statement, this is blatantly and uncouthly ooc in fact, but, the entire concept of the paper is a mixture of ic and ooc isn't it? Let's not pick hairs, why am I doing this? For you, the Role-player. To provide a bit of variety, things that I, in my infinate egotism, as well as any other Role-players who happen to come into the writing staff of The Shadowed Corner. Most of the names and places mentioned in the Articles, are either entirely fictional (having never actually existed in Ayenee, or anywhere previous to that) - or are character ideas that I (or, again, whoever is writing for that particular issue) - has capitalized upon, and wishes to advertise. If the character concepts, names, etc. are indeed not taken, feel free to create that name, and provide your own persona to the character, give it life, fill it with a vitality that may be wholly different than what was intended for it, or remarkably similar for that matter. Let it add a little flavor to Ayenee, or any other Role-playing system that might eventually arise from the ashes of Yahoo! chat. Feel free to contribute, to send in anything role-playing related, or otherwise. Brag to your friends about being published, provide a bit of diversity to this Rag, a fresh infusion of ideas, brilliant concepts that you might have, but due to lack of time or interest, might not be able to play out yourself.
