And you think coffee isn't dangerous... and on a side note.. this is horribly disturbing.. on so many different levels I can't begin to express it. It is a website desiged to disseminate information on the age of consent in different countries. It then links you to pages that give you the country's definition of rape, and the punishment of rape. Now granted.. There are some good sides to having this information.. but on the whole, its just down right disturbing..

went out to lunch with the 'rents.. went to bugaboo.. had the cariboo chicken.. it was pretty good.. had a mango smoothie too.. i liked it. Went out shopping at marshalls, tjmaxx, jcpenny then to filenes.. took four hours.. I found a couple of really nice sweaters.. a white cardigan that has beeds and sequins on it.. is supposed to be a christmas/winter sweater, but it really could work all year round. Got a sleeveless black sweater with a cowl neck in a soft but heavy black yarn. It will be really nice under a sweater or jacket. Got a black jacket.. which is pretty shocking.. Ive been looking for one for ever. its still not what I want.. but it will do. Im actually considering getting one made.. but alas, Im broke.. (or that's what I keep telling myself so I don't become so). I found a fuzzy greenish jacket, that will work fall through late spring.. so I should be good for a while. ~should have gone looking for 'shoes' ;) I have some errands to run today.. and some chores to do around the house.. sigh.. I need a bigger house.. or one designed a little better..

Let all bitterness, wrath, anger, clamor, and evil speaking be put away from you, with all malice. And be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God in Christ forgave you. Ephesians 4:31-32

going out shopping with my mother tomorrow.. Please don't ask why.. I have no idea. I went over to get her opinion on a jacket I bought through the mail, and somehow I ended up agreeing to go shopping.. wish me luck.

"As one who has long been a pushover for cats, I would like to offer a packet of color-fast, preshrunk advice: If a stray kitten bounds out of nowhere when you're taking a walk, mews piteously, and rubs a soft shoulder against your leg, flee to the hills until the danger is over." ~murray robinson

I REALLY need a temperature control faucet on my shower. I once heard they made such a thing.. you pick the temperature of the water, and the shower head makes sure that it stays that way.. no adjusting the hot and cold while your in the shower... I must find one.. and just on a side note.. don't try to take a shower when your hands are very cold.. you adjust the water so it isn't so hot on your hand, and you get in and the rest of your body FREEZES!!.. on a side note.. I remembered I own a book of cat quotes.. (was a gift from Ken... thank you Ken) Most of them are a little long to put above my closet.. (which is 9 inches by 72 inches) but Im sure I can find something I like to put there. One of my favorites from this morning is:
Of all the toys available, none is better designed than the owner himself. A large multipurpose plaything, its parts can be made to move in almost any direction. It comes completely assembled and it makes a sound when you jump on it. ~ Stephen Baker.

been watching a lot of TLC lately.. watching a make over story on fast forward cause I like seeing the before, the picking out of the outfits, and the after, but the whole actual make over is boring to me.. Been also watching 'a personal story'.. they do profiles of people who have plastic surgery. One of the first ones I saw were two girls who had lipo and one of them had breast implants.. and a guy who had calf inplants. They were so shallow and self aborbed it was almost funny. I decided I wasn';t going to watch another one, but tivo kept recording them for me. seen some more lipo, some stomach stapling. There have also been a number of shows about people who needed to have excess skin removed due to excessive weight loss.. These shows make me so squimish.. why on earth do I watch them??

went to the library today.. needed a new book.. its kinda nice out there.. ~45 degrees.. but the sun is out, and it isn't all that windy.. I drove with the window down.. I got to the library, and a cool song came on the radio, so I went 'cruisin' :) went down to a part of town I grew up in, but never really drive any more.. there isn't a reason.. Its amazing how little has changed. Garsides got another coat of paint.. there was a new road across the street from the house that got hit by lightning... they stuck a few more homes on an already obnoxiously crowded road.. I made it all the way down to my old house. My parents sold it a few years ago.. looks pretty much unchanged. The two trees in the front yard which I remember them planting, and which I used to jump over when I was a kid are now taller than the house.. I drove past the house I REALLY wanted to own when I grew up.. I saw the tree I used to climb when I was waiting for the bus. I saw the baptist church which I never knew existed till they rebuilt it way back when... the penny candy store I used to go to.. It was such a trip through memory lane. When I rounded the corner to the area that I grew up in.. it still felt like home.. and its been 12 years since Ive lived there.. Went past the elementry and intermediate schools I went to.. got back to the library and picked out a few interesting books.. Then I went to Shaws. Getting to Shaws was an intersting feat.. See the main road in my town was backed up cause the highway that also runs through my town was backed up.. so people were leaving the highway and trying to parallel it past the back up.. Well there are two sets of lights.. and both of them were backed up with people going north to south, so people going east/west couldn't get through. I think I broke two different traffic laws to get through.. (ok, no thought about it.. I did break the laws) then.. when trying to get to shaws, I ran into even more people trying to get around the back up.. (there are like 100 different ways to get from there to here.. but only two bridges over the river besides the turnpike) So once again I broke another traffic law and went around them on the left (it was a two lane road) and then cut in front of someone who thankfully was leaving room to get into the shopping plaza.. sometimes I really hate 'people'.. but back to the story.. I used to like shaws.. When they started doing the 2 for 1 sales, I thought it was pretty awesome.. but then they went to that stupid rewards card.. which you can't get any of the sale prices unless you have your card.. and ofcourse I forgot mine.. so I left.. Went to the pet store afterwards.. Em has dandruff pretty bad, and in doing some research on it, I found a product someone recommended.. unfortunately my pet store didn't have it.. but man I do like pet stores.. I mean how could I not.. they have such cute pets in it.
I came home, and found that the suits I ordered had finally come in. I need a new outfit to wear for interviews.. Sadly the first one was too small, and the next size up was too big... actually it wasn't, but the chest area was badly cut... made me feel like my breasts were two sizes too small.. (which is not the case!) So its back to the drawing board to find a nice business like outfit.. wish me luck.

I know why the hamster runs on the wheel.. as im sitting here writing this, S&L are both running on the wheel.. its quite cute.. Im thinking Im going to need to supply them with two wheels..
anyway.. I was watching them run, and they have a tendancy to sprint, then stop and so they fall backwards a bit, then sprint again, then fall back, over and over again.. a rocking motion not unlike the 'sea dragon' at one point tonight, the hamster flipped himself over.. like the giant amusment ride.. I think they want to constantly do this, but are afraid of falling, giggle
yea.. im being silly.. but have you read the last few posts?? the first one was at 4am.. then I spent the day reading, now its midnight.. I think im fried..
no wait.. I know I am.. *makes note to go out and get second hamster wheel anyway

I did it... I... DID... IT...!!! I got a few books from the library the other day.. one of which being "a painted house' by john grisham.. and let me tell you, that was one hard book to get through cause it was so slow, and quite boring. it had a few interesting plot twists.. enough to keep me reading.. but man that book tasked me..

yet another dream: It started out by my running into erik. We were in school and in band class together... and for a while we did something that resembled dating.. (you know.. that stuff you do when your a freshman in high school) Anyway.. I ran into him and we went 'back to his place' but like a sappy PG movie, the bedroom door closed, and the scene changed. he had wandered off and was doing something in a car garage. I walked through the door to find him, and found a ton of cars between where I was and where he was. I stepped on the hood of the first car, and the car started to rock back and forth and threatened to fall... erik, barely watching me, called instructions on how to get to where he was, which I followed, and in the process of working my way over, I fell into a whole new scene..
This time I was in some sort of break room. there were several rooms to it, and it had a wearhouse feel. There were many people standing around, but I was eating a sandwich and looking out a window. my boss stormed into the other side of the room and started ranting about there being a draft in the room, and to shut the door, but the door was shut. the draft grew till it was almost a wind storm. It knocked over a scrap book on a bookshelf which held a newspaper article about a baby found at walmart. I looked back towards the window and saw a woman who hadn't been there before..
and then I woke up..
