... Well, today I went to:
Willow Springs Picnic Area
all the way in the back of Red Rock Canyon.
I spotted the first bird I recorded on my lists.
I quess it's a male plain titmouse, he's kind of grown up now but still acts young. I'm surprised he's still in the area!
Birds of the Day
- 8 Chukar drinking at the spring.
- 10-15 Scrub Jays flying around.
- 20 Rufous-sided Towhee
- 15 Oregon Junco
- 25 White-crowned Sparrows
New Birds
- a Broad-tailed Hummingbird flew right in my binoculars field of view next to a bird I was watching.
- 5-10 Townsend's Solitaire
- and 3 different types I could not identify.
