Rei Ayanami(Americanized name ..Rei!). Single minded. Emotionless. Devoted to duty. Emotionless. Cool and collected, even under pressure. Emotionless. Aloof, but with a weird attachment to Gendo(and after seeing End of Evangelion I understand why), this is one stone cold mecha babe!

(Did we mention that she was emotionless?)

Natlie Portman (The Professional) is our choice for the cool haired Rei. She can be single minded (like Matilda, the adolescent assasin wanna-be in The Professional) , cold and aloof ( Princess Almadala from Episode I....that makeup was more then just a disguise!) Besides, she would do the EVA suit justice!

Shoru Asuka Langley (Sherri A. Langley in the American world). Snotty, arrogant , bored, oversexed, and emotionally repressed. She treats Shinji like dirt. She treats herself like dirt. Actually, she treats everyone like dirt! Good thing Rei hasn't the inclination to pay her any mind or this red suited wench would get her cute ass whupped! Munihausen and Overlord like her. Avalon ( our company therapist) feels Shoru needs prozac and Freud to work through her issues , get in touch with the pain that drives her and dismantle her emotional defenses. Emotional wreck or not, she is a DAMN good EVA pilot!

When you read the description, who do you think of? Penny Robinson from "Lost in Space"! Lacy Chearber (Party of Five) whined her way through outer space just like she whines away on her show every week. Tormented, tough yet vulnerable all at the same time, this girl can bring Shoru to life like no other. Not to mention, the suit she's wearing would make a great Plug Suit!
