I shot these at the first showing of ヤマトよ永遠に Yamato yo towa ni ("Be Forever Yamato") at a theater near Tondabayashi, Osaka, Japan, the morning of August 2, 1980. The second photo gives a glimpse of the "Yamato Goods Corner" set up just outside the theater, where fans loaded up on loot like movie programs, posters, pencils, stationery, stickers...
