In Auguest issue of Afternoon Monthly featured interview with director - Gouda Hiroaki, and he talks about the AMG movie that will be out sometime in Spring of year 2000 !! Finally !! I can't wait to see this one, its been a long time.
Volume No. 18 is now on sale !! - February 3rd, 1998
Well, Ah ! My Goddess Volume 18 finally released on November 21st, 1998, exactly one year later when Volume 16 came out. Anyway, beautiful picture as usual featuring Bell-chan (get a closer look by click on the picture)
Volume No. 17 is now on sale !! - October 2nd, 1998
Finally, Ah My Goddess Vol.17 has released on September 22nd, 1998. Another beautiful picture featured Skuld with her angel (Click for a clean view ^_^) It has 7 chapters from 98 to 104.

This is Inoue Kikuko's 4th solo album.
The cover jacket picture is intentionally blurred, as the focus
is on the squid and not Kikuko. (^_^;)
The tracks are:
This CD is made up of the songs that were chosen as the monthly songs
in the Oneechan to Issho CD series.
There are many kinds of songs on this CD.
The first pressing of this CD comes in a clear plastic case containing
the CD and a small tambourine. The tambourine has a cute, colorful
illustration of Kikuko and some cute animals and such.
This costs a little bit more than the normal (CD only) pressing.
The lyrics booklet is printed on thick paper (thicker than other CDs),
and there are many color photos of Kikuko inside. Kikuko is at a
summer festival, and is wearing a purple yukata.
The CD itself is a picture CD too.

Concerning the "Chibi Megami" TV series boardcasted on WOWOW - June 10, 1998
Anime Complex (VHS) will be released shortly and "Chibi Megami" is a part of the complex. A CDS will be attached to the VHS which have Belldandy (Kikuko !!) introducing the anime.
Chibi Megami Project Album CD will be released on 17Jul at 2000 yen.
VHS/LD of the "Chibi Megami" TV series will be released at a monthly schedule. First VHS/LD release date is 19Aug, 8 episodes per VHS/LD, 5800 yen each.
Latest informations on Ah ! My Goddess movie ! - February 3rd, 1998
It's going to have an original (?) character.... it was on the original manga before (...you'll have to "look" for it...) There will be action... (since The director of art (moving art, animation, etc...) likes it... (Matsuda-san)... the Director (total director, head director, etc...) has already finished the scenario, and is moving on to fine-tuning it for animation... Oh, Peorth (sp?) will be on the movie screen as well ^_^

Volume No. 16 is out !! - November 21st, 1997
Again, like I told you guys last time, 21st of November, Ah My Goddess Vol.16 has released. What a beautiful picture of Urd with her angel/devil. It has 7 chapters from 91 to 97. (brand new angel picture for Urd ! Click for larger picture ^_^)

"Aa ! Megami-sama" for the PC-FX
2 CD-ROM comes on sale Dec. 12th Retail price 8800yen, plus tax, ...basically, it's a "transfer" from the NEC--->WIN95--->PC-FX..... BUT! It's going to have original stuff added on... It's got an OPENING ANIMATION!... The nicest thing is, IT'S FULL VOICE!!! 100% full voice, for all stuff
spoken! Also, they will have 2 mini-games... if you win, (as usual for all mini-games ^_^;) they will have a special CG for you...
.....now... my honest opinion... don't buy this game, unless you are a megami-otaku...also, if youhave the WIN95 or the NEC, think twice before buying it..... but if you reserve at the right shops, you can get 2 posters (that's the best offer I've seen around...) when you buy it reserved. It might be rather a very difficult and delicate choice, if you want to buy it or not...

On the November issue of monthly comic Afternoon, the executive producer talks about some troubles they ran into when they are making the Ah ! My Goddess - The Movie (god bless them). They are still working hard on the project, so all we can do is be patient and wait.

"NEWS! Gekijou you Eiga Shidou!!" - September 25th, 1997
It's a statement in the smaller sleeve that you will find in Volume 15. What is "NEWS! Gekijou you Eiga Shidou!!" you ask ? News is News obviously :) anyway the whole translation is - "NEWS! Theatrical Movie Started!!". Yup ! you read it right, the work for Ah ! My Goddess movie has officially begun, so stay tone for more details.
Ah ! My Goddess 1998 Calendar - September 22nd, 1997
Base on a reliable source, AMG 98' calendar should be one poster (the one on the right) and one CD-ROM. The CD-ROM contain graphics (of course) one picture per week, and its compatible with both Windows 95 and Macintosh, so I think most of you will have no trouble with the CD itself. But beware, this year's calendar are limited (says on the ad) and by reservation only, so you better act fast, otherwise you won't get it. The price of the 1998 calendar should be $ 2950 yen, and the reservation date ends on October 7th, 1997

Announcement of Ah ! My Goddess on PC-FX - June 25th, 1997
NEC Home Electronics of Japan has announced "Ah ! My Goddess" for the PC-FX. The retail price is set for 8,000 yen, and is scheduled for release this August.
Possible release time of Ah ! My Goddess volume 15 - June 18th, 1997
According to the info from Fujishima World, volume 15 is almost ready to do, but only one problem - they can't print the color cover in time, so the earliest release time should be around Autumn.
Rumor suggest that Ah ! My Goddess video game will be out on PC-FX, and It likely will be like the version on PC-9801 ? So how about AMG racing game on SuperFamicom ? With the appearance of Nintendo 64, you can bet that it could never come out....
New release GFC singles postponed ! - May 22nd, 1997
According to the June issue of Oneechan to Issho, the release of the GFC and 3 Goddess singles is being postponed until August 7, which means we have to wait for another couple more months.. (BUMMER!)
Ah ! My Goddess movie in the making ? - May 3rd, 1997
The movie's official announcement should come out around this year's fall. (hopefully). The "possible" story line is like this -
Keiichi will disappear, or get kidnapped, (or something similar will
happen.) and the goddesses (sp?) will go on a search, or will go after the "bad-guys" (or a similar story line)...
Information from the Fujishima World - May 2nd, 1997
Words out from the Fujishima World indicate that -
There should be an official announcement of next AMG production. They are pretty sure now, that it's a movie.
The next AMG Tanko-bon (comic book, vol.15) won't come out until around fall. The reason is, the can't get the front cover printed on time... (They can get the inside printed, but since the cover's plastic like, and color, they need time.)
Goddess Family Club are releasing new singles ! - May 1st, 1997
Belldandy, Urd, Skuld and Goddess Family Club are all releasing new singles! The 4 singles will be released in Japan on June 5, 1997! Could this be a prelude to OAV series 2?
In the May issue of a monthly CD - "Inoue Kikuko no oneechan to issho" which featuring 70 minutes of talk/song etc. by Kikuko Inoue (released April 18th), she said that Goddess Family Club, Belldandy, Urd, Skuld are coming out with new songs! There will be 4 singles CDs scheduled to go on sale June 5th!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Maybe this is a prelude to the new video series? You be the judge.
When you buy Ah ! Megami-sam Manga 14, you will see an "ad" on the cover that tell you Ah ! My Goddess sold 10,000,000 copies (worldwide ?) Congratulation to them !
Ah! Megami-sama Manga 14 on sale!! - April 23rd, 1997
At last! The long waited 14th volume has released !!
When people ask me that when will the AMG Vol.14 be out, I went through some volumes of AMG manga and I relaized that Vol. 13 was out exactly an year after the release of Vol. 12. and this time, same thing with Vol. 14, out exactly an year after Vol. 13, so I wonder.... Anyways, let's just be glad that it's out! This volume contains chapters 78 to 82.
Wai! Wai! Ah! Megami-sama has finally reached its 100th chapter! Also by the looks of it, the rumor that AMG was going to end in 100th chapter turned out to be just a rumor (thank goddess!). AMG FOREVER!!!!
Ah! Megami-sama SFC game held back! (again...-_-;;)
The Ah! Megami-sama Racing game, which was scheduled to come out in July of 1996, just reacently got held back once more time, this time for December of 1996 (it was held back once before... which was aiming for September). Quite frankly, people are starting to doubt that this thing will ever be out...
Second Ah! Megami-sama OVA coming out?
I have heard this wild rumor that there's a new Ah! Megami-sama animation in development. The rumor goes on to say that they're debating over a TV series, another OVA series, or a movie. The second OVA series is the one that will most likely to happen, but keep your fingers crossed for a movie as well.
Peorth makes her second appearance!!
Peorth, the fourth Goddess we're introduced to, makes her second appearance in chapter 94, where she briefly appeares while chasing a shooting ball of light (which turned out to be the boy that was introduced in the same chapter) She will most likely show up again later in the chapter.
