Church���� It turned out that quite a number of the folks who ate at that coffee moved off at about the same time as we did- to get to the church. Walking further down Jalan Gotlieb (about 300 metres away), we found Elim Full Gospel Assembly. We were directed by the boys (as well as the sight of a crowd near an entrance) to a meeting room where the service was held.

The meaning of "Elim"
-
A place in the book of Exodus in the Bible- where the Israelites rested in the desert. "Then they came to Elim, where there were twelve wells of water and seventy palm trees; so they camped there by the waters." (Exodus 15:27) A fitting name for a place where we stopped awhile, to be spiritually refreshed.

When the service was over, we made our way along Jalan Convent to a shopping complex called Onestop (no kidding- we definitely stopped awhile :)
