Wedding on 31st October 1998 TAN
Shih Pin, a fellow scuba diving instructor, got married
in a very unusual manner... this was also featured
in the various local newspapers.

Visit
to Naval Hyperbaric Centre on 3rd
October 1998 Organised
by the Singapore Underwater Federation, some divers with
Mako Sub-Aquatic made a visit to Republic of Singapore
Navy's Naval Hyperbaric Centre, a key facility in diver
care in this (South-East Asian) region.

Inaugural Dive Trip on 25nd
September 1998  DSO
National Laboratories Recreation Club organised its
inaugural scuba diving trip to Pulau Aur. Mako
Sub-Aquatics conducted the NAUI Scuba Diver
programme. Read about their experience.

Solar Eclipse on 22nd August
1998 Divers
with Mako Sub-Aquatics made a diving trip to Pulau
Pemmangil, hauled themselves out of bed real early in the
morning to get into a boat so that they could see this
astronomical event.
