9 years of emotional abuse changes you in extreme and debilitating ways. I finally got out of my dysfunctional marriage when x pulled a loaded gun on me twice on March 20, 1998. Now I am trying to work thru how I got to that point and how to eventually get back to where I was before the marriage. As of March 1999, I am also trying to find where my real place is in life. I've had to move back to my Mommie's house in Texas after berating my X for doing that and I've had to leave the mountains and my little acre of land that I thought would be my home forever. I've contemplated giving up on my choice of profession, but now I am trying to find courage to give it one more chance...hoping it doesn't break me completely in the process.
