The throne room.
Step right up.
You thank the guard, and he opens the door. As you step into the throne room, you are overwhelmed by the granduer you see all around you. The room must be hundreds of feet wide! You are entering on the right-hand side of it. The black walls shine and faintly glow a dim red in some places. Paintings are everywhere where the walls do not glow. The reddish/purple carpet looks to be centuries old, although it shows no signs of wear. The ceiling is far above your head, and you would wager that if you had a rock, you couldn't throw it high enough to hit even the lowest part of the ceiling. Even more spectacular are the glowing stars on the ceiling, in the pattern of the actual stars, with none missing that you can see! The statues here make masterpieces you have seen elsewhere seem second-rate, and even the stones in the floor are somehow more impressive than stones you have seen in the past. Then you turn your attention to the throne. The throne is a medium sized throne, seemingly made of some sort of wood, but covered in the same material that the carpeting is made of, and the same colour. The difference is that it is trimmed in gold, with tasseled edges. Alan is standing next to the throne with a look of satisfaction on his face, as if he is pleased that you like his throne room so much. You also notice that there are two doors, one on the right-hand wall, and one near the throne.
As you approach the throne, you kneel down on one knee, like you have heard you are expected to do before kings, and bow your head. Alan says: "Rise. Welcome to my throne room. I am glad to see you like it. Obviously you are one who pays attention to detail. Have you liked the rest of the castle?"
"Of course, my Lord," you stammer.
"Please, there is no need to be so formal, or so hesitant. We are all people, and just because I am the Lord of the Realm makes me no better than you or anyone else, for that matter. Now, do you really like the castle?"
"Yes. It is the most remarkable castle I have ever seen."
"I am pleased," he says, "that you like it so much. So tell me, is there anything that you have seen that you are curious about?" If yes, then here are the answers. If no, then here are some things to be curious about and examine
