| Born in Monnesson, Pennyslvania, she was the daughter of the late Charles Melvin and Anna Matilda Witts Seiring. Due to unfortunate circumstances mom and her brother, Charles, were raised in foster homes, while her sister, Rose Marie was adopted out. After 63 years of seperation they were finally reunited. Unfortunately mom was ill with Lung Cancer. With the first diagnoses in 1993 she went into remission and in 2001 the Cancer came back with a vengence. In April of 2002 we were told there was nothing more they could. She only had 3 months left to live. | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||

| In knowing that you only have 3 months left to live....What would you do? Give up and die in misery or die while loving and being loved. Mom choose the latter and I'm glad she did. She had no strength, no hair, no reason to do anything. Yet she found the power within herself to attend church with me. She reached out to our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ and she was baptized on June 30, 2002. My parents divorced in 1975 and were remarried just 5 hours before she died.
