My name is S.Vijaya Kumar - My Photo . Friends
call me Viji. I was born on Dec. 19th, 1972 in the beautiful state of Tamil Nadu in India, a
country that exhibits unity and diversity in culture.
I did my schooling at J.R.K.Mat.Hr.Sec.School, Vadapalani.
Life at school was the best part of my life(especially during my higher secondary). I used to play Volleyball and Cricket most of the time, and we participated in many tournaments.I did not know the burden on my shoulders then.
I did my Bachelor of Engineering (Computer Science) in VMKV - Vinayaka Mission Kirupananda Variyar Engineering College, Salem. Truth is that i enjoyed life than studies during my college days. Our Batch (Class of 1994) was very exceptional with intelligent students (Except for our Gang).
After College, i had worked for Perfect Computer Systems (My first Job), Datamatics, Madras and BITECH, Madras. I believe BITECH enlightened me with valuable knowledge in IT. I felt confident about myself and thought i was fit for Overseas assignments.
I joined Standard & Western (S) Pte Ltd , Singapore in January,1997 as a Software Consultant. I worked at their client's place
Singapore Network Services Pte Ltd. I was involved in developing Internet Applications. Landed in US during FEB'98 worked for CALTECH Inc. in San Jose,California, USA. Now i am working for
ORACLE Corporation , California, USA as
Senior Applications Engineer developing Internet/Intranet applications.
Hobbies & Interests
- I like to spend most of my time that I can afford messing around with
computers. I love to be with and around computers.
- I like to read . . . Specially while travelling.
- Love Music. Specially Tamil Film music.
My favourites... . SPB, Yeasudas, Hariharan, Chitra and Harini.
- I like driving. . . I am good at it.
