VMKV Engineering College is located on National Highway between Salem and Erode, in the village of Seeragapadi which is 21 kms from Salem. VMKV, affiliated to the University of Madras is one of the premier Dote II Colleges in the state(Just Kidding). VMKV is the only self financing Engineering College in Salem. The other Enginnering College in Salem is Government Engineering College.
