X-Fest

X-Fest is a game which arose out of my experimentation with C++, and is largely inspired by X-Quest, a shareware game involving a mouse controlled space ship which flies about and shoots and collects stuff. This game, however, uses keyboard controls and you can have up to four players huddled round the keyboard trying to shoot each other. The game ends after five minutes and the one with the highest score wins. Its quite fun with three or four people, and the file is only small, so why not download it? The zip file contains the program and the documentation. Email me and I might even be persuaded to let you have the source code.

News

I have written a DirectX version of XFest called XFest2000 with new graphics and sound. Have a look over at IthilienGames for more information on that and other DirectX projects.
