Overview:
A Hyperspace class light-cruiser hurtling through space at several times the speed of light

Background:
The Azure was the first Hyper Space Class warship to successfully make an accurate jump through hyperspace. Commissioned by the United Kingdom in 2058 the Azure was the fastest vessel in existence for over 10 years until she was superseded by the United States built Delta. Armed with a forward mounted tactical nuclear array, rear armament and an array of single man space and atmospheric fighters, the development of the Azure changed the face of space warfare forever. Her ability to 'leap' across the battlefield and keep out of harms way means that its easy to keep out of the way of enemy fire. Now decommissioned, the Azure was heading around the Galaxy as a museum ship, until it was purchased by Boff as a personal combat arena, after much modification it entered service for Arena Combat in 2301.
