I am an IE.  I spent over 12 years of my life in IE school.  I earns 3 degrees in Industrial Engineering.  I took almost every classes of that the schools offered including what they recommended to take from other schools.  I have over 700 books related to IE.  More than half of those books, I read cover-to-cover.

When I join industry, I started my job as an IE manager.  I did use many tools I learned from IE schools.  I found the strength of IE and the room for improvement.  The IE curriculum can be slightly modified to bridge the gap between industry and academic.  In fact, IE is already the bridge between academic and industry, the bridge between shop-floor and management, including the gap between management and engineering.  By having all classes I'm thinking here, IE will definitely be the super-career of 21st century.

Here are the classes I wanted to learn during my time in IE schools.  Each class includes the description.  I also plan to put the textbook or related articles or even links to each class.  There is no copyright now but you are welcome to drop me a note if you plan to put some classes to reality.  I guarantee to help at no cost - as much as my time allow me to do so.  Please note that these classes are limited to the IE school only.  Therefore, there are other classes that I really wanted to learn in school but not specific to IE major.  So I did not include they here.  Enjoy and think some more about these classes.  Drop me an email how I can help or you want to share the experience after applying this class or even there are other classes that you wanted to learn during your IE school.
