Bianchi 1885 ’06 Bianchi 1885 is my first road bike, bought from Go-Leang in February '06.  It comes with Campangolo Veloce + Centaur group set with Fulcum Racing 5 wheels.  Later, I replaced Fulcum with Mavic Cosmic Carbone.  It was sold in October'06 after 6,000 km on it.

BMC ProMachine SLC01 ’06

This bike is the same model as what Floyd Landis rode and won in Tour de France'06.  I put Dura-Ace groupset with all Easton parts (EC90 Handlebars, EC70 Stem and EC70 Seatpost).  It has a very nice Selle Italia SLR saddle, only 125g.  The wheels were Mavic Cosmic Carbone - a heritage from Bianchi 1885.  They were replaced by Easton wheels.  This feather weight bike is only 6.6 kg with Look Keo Carbon pedals.  I had it only 4 months, sold in February '07. With only 2,000 km, this super-light bike took me to maximum speed of 69.7 km/hour in January'07.

Time VXRS Ulteam ’07
Ulteam is the ultimate riding machine.  Time is a very expensive frame, particularly its Top-of-the-line bicyle, the VXRS Ulteam.  It's not a super-light frame (Time calls it "module"), weight 915 gram without Translink and fork; or 1,605 gram with Translink, Fork and stem.  Translink is what Time calls its integrated seatpost.  This bike gives me great riding experience.  My endurance riding improved from around 2.5 hour/ride up to 4-6 hour riding without any pain.  The downhill is so stable, feeling as close as riding Chromo bicycle.  It has a magic pushing me in up-hill riding.  Undoubtedly, VXRS Ulteam brought many successes to Paolo Bertini and Tom Boonen

Bianchi FG Lite ’07
VXRS Ulteam is a very special bike. While it provides you super comfort, I don't want to risk it under the rain. We have crazy weather in Bangkok'07. We started having raining season in early March. So, the back-up bike is the idea to keep my beauty VXRS in a good condition while I can ride in raining season. So I got this FG Lite for heavy-duty or raining riding machine. This FG Lite is special for... Full alumnium (not carbon tail) Although Liquigas switched to another brand in '07, this FG Lite has Liquigas's Captain team color with "Di Luca Pro 2005" on top-tube.  So, this Liquigas theme come with 32.4 seat-tube, not 31.6 mm, making this FG Lite be able to support heavy-duty riding. The picture shown Mavic Cosmic Carbone Premium SL with Campagnolo Veloce.  I later replace Veloce with Chorus'07 making this bicycle no longer heavy-duty riding machine.  Rather, another racing weapon.  If I put Eurus wheels on it, this bike is purely "Made In Italy" bicycle.  For its special, I decided to get it undersize (I ride 53 but I got 51 for this bike).  Therefore, this bike is so agile for its undersize, full aluminum and very light weight (under 1 kg).  You can jump from zero to 30 km/hr in only few pedal strokes.  My best 2-hour record is on this FG Lite at 80 km (average 40 km/hour).

Pinarello Montello ’88

I once wanted to have a classic bicycle.  It was my dream to ride Colnago Master, any kind of Master would be ok for me.

Trek Fuel Ex7 ’06
This is my first bicycle that I bought from my own pocket.  I bought it back in December'05 to join mini-cycling club of my colleague.

Trek 4300 ’07
This is the cheapest bicycle I own now but I ride it the most.  I ride it almost every weekend or holiday.  It helps me move from point-a to point-b easily.  In fact, this is the bicycle that I love the most because I can ride it with my daughter and my son.

My (used-to-be) dream bikes
  • Pinarello Prince
  • Trek Equinox
  • Colnago Extreme Power
