The following may be boring. :o)
First of all I am one of Jehovah�s Witnesses and am very active in my religion. On the inside, I am a passionate, tender and caring person. Some may not think so when they first meet me because I try to act tough and hide my emotions. A lot of people think I am nice and tell me I am a generous person, at least that is what they tell me to my face� Smiling really big ;u}
I just do what I can, while I can.
I love the outdoors! Camping, fishing, strolling through the woods, exploring creeks and streams, watching birds, climbing up on things and looking around, taking all the pictures I can of what I see. If I could, I would be happy living in my tent, as long as I have food to cook and possibly a friend to cook for. Swimming in the rivers and bathing in the Hot Springs, is the best. I love watching sunrises and sunsets, sitting by the fire or watching it burn, and seeing it from inside my tent is wonderful. When near meadows, I like to lie on my back and just watch the world go by, listening to the birds, the bugs and the wind (if it�s moving) doing what they do.
When back in civilization, If I am not at a meeting or out in field service, I like sitting in front of my computer creating new and different things in all the different graphics programs. If I�m not sitting in front of my computer I am relaxing on my couch with my cats watching the TV or a movie, I like adventurous, funny or even a tear jerker movie now and then, this is best with a big bowl of hot popcorn, a good friend to lean on (and a tissue if needed). If I am not staring at one screen or the other, I do bead work on small bottles and feather quills, tie flies or work on some kind of craft thing.
I try to keep everything as simple as can be, there is enough in this old system
to bring me down and I prefer not to go there.
Music? Whenever I listen to music, it is usually instrumental, classical or classic rock and pop.
My preferences are Yanni, Neil Diamond, the Carpenters, Mama�s & the Papa�s, Peter, Paul & Mary, ABBA and Native American music. If I am not in the mood for lyrics, I will pop in one of my "Nature Sounds" CD�s and imagine myself outside in the middle of it all.
Welp, I hope this wasn�t too boring, and kind of what you wanted? It took me a moment to sit quietly, be real honest with myself and write down the simple things that give me pleasure in life.
Dislikes� People who are phony, lazy, users and those who try to make things out of something they see and never go to the source to ask, those who like to spread rumors without knowing the facts, �� and the� well basically worldly attitude type. I really don�t like to get into negative things because as I am trying to put on a new personality, I try real hard not to dwell on those thoughts. I have the normal dislikes, like, broken bones, cuts scrapes, broken down cars, really nasty weather, icy roads, nasty neighbors, politics, war, Christendom, this old system�
you know, those types of things�
Well, I sure hope I didn�t offend any one, I just wanted to let you know where I am coming from.
If I did offend you, please don�t take it as a personal attack, it was not intended to be that way.
