Christmas to my family and I has a religious aspect to it. We celebrate the coming of Jesus by going to church and setting up a place to put a doll of
the baby Jesus on the 25th of December. People do not really celebrate it’s religious meaning but rather look at is as Santa Claus and presents. In a way we still do that but we try to do the religious
things involved with the day that Jesus was born. There is also something that we do which is called “La Posada”, which is when we go around asking people to give the Virgin Mary and Joseph a place to stay in
order to give birth to Jesus. It is something that we do which is involved with the church.
