1	Pokémon: I choose you Ash Ketchum is a 10 yr old from the town of Pallet. In this first episode we see him receive his first Pokémon, a Pikachu. Pikachu and Ash create a bond after surviving an attack from a flock of Spearow. Ash also meets Misty. 2	Pokémon Emergency After the battle with the Spearows, Pikachu becomes hurt. Ash and Pikachu make their way to Verdidian City where Pikachu is brought back to good health. The Pokémon centre is hit by an attack from Team Rocket. But Pikachu saves the day again. 3	Ash catches a Pokémon Ash catches a Caterpie much to Misty's disgust. They also come across a Pidgeotto, whom Ash also captures. Ash learns about Pokémon strategy from Misty. Once again, they come across Team Rocket who are trying to steal Pikachu. 4	Challenge of the Samurai Ash and Misty continue their way through the Veridian Forest and come across a Weedle that Ash tries to catch. Samurai interupts Ash and they have a battle matching Metapod against Metapod. A swarm of Beedrill drive them to Samurai's hut and Ash's Metapod is left behind. Ash returns to rescue Metapod and is attacked by a Beedrill. Metapod saves Ash and evolves into a Butterfree. Then Butterfree saves them all from the swarm of Beedrill.
