Dear Marvin, I am the proud owner of a 1993 BRG - 1 owner
- 91,233 miles on the odometer. My Question: Is it normal
in hiway driving at speeds between 48 mph and 61 mph in fourth gear when
decelerating through intermediate shifting and applying additional pressure
to the accelerator I feel a slight shifting and somewhat of a drift which
appears to be a misalignment of the differential which has an immediate
impact on the left rear brake rotor. Is this normal?? Rudy Roaddy P. S. I have installed a tubular flow
catalytic converted sway bar with hot air inductors together with a stage
air filter. Could this be the problem?? Dear Rudy: I have many times encountered this very problem
on a number of 1993 BRG Miatas. To cure this very perplexing problem I
suggest you change the color of your car: try red. This remedy
has worked very well in the past. Good Luck, Marvin |
