ROADRUNNER ANNUAL MEETING

The Roadrunner Chapter had a most enjoyable annual meeting on 28 August thanks to the hospitality of Al and Elaine Weisman. (Predictably it rained in the NE heights).  Our new officers for the Millennium are Edd Bush, President, Rob Maynard, Treasurer, Sue Rabold, Activities Director, and Charles and Barbara Washington, Editors of the newsletter, web page and flyers. With talent like that we expect great things in 2000!  We have already received the tentative schedule for 2000 activities and our first flyer concerning the September drive sponsored by Charlie and Joyce Clark.  There are still a couple of open dates for monthly activities, so contact Sue if you have a favorite drive that you would like to sponsor.  Also, the monthly brunch on the first Saturday of each month continues to be scheduled for 10:00 at Rt. 66 Café on Central, unless there is a conflict with a holiday, in which case it will be reschedule to the 2nd Saturday.  We will continue to visit other restaurants depending on the membership.  If you have a favorite place, get in touch with Edd with your recommendation.
