Don't you just love it when you view a page that looks like things were dumped on it like someone just puked out all the stuff you see. Take a closer look here, none of the text or pictures obscure anything, the alt tags tell you what things are, and this page does display in IE and Netscape. Wanna learn more about how to do this? Get yourself an HTML tutor and read it, geeks can view the source here, but I gotta tell you the code is all wrong!! This space is for the ESPN sports ticker. It works sometimes, gives updated scores and links to some articles. When it doesn't work ESPN, Geocities and Yahoo! will blame one of the others or claim the code wasn't put on the page properly, or ignore questions about things that don't work. I don't really care if it works. This is sort of a scrap page, I used it to check what showed up when I started learning html, I'm still learning and always will be the people who write the specs, like to change them, sort of job security. Anyone who wants their banner and a link to their page can send it to me and I will put it here. I can't explain why this page gets so many hits, I haven't registered it with search engines or included meta tags or posted the URL in usenet groups. This page does get updated often, like every time I'm not sure how something is going to work.
