This page is a place to give people credit for doing good and a place to expose what Big Brother does for the sake of the big money interests who pay the bribes. I also have a couple of questions that someone may be able to answer. Ken Srarr spent about $50,000,000 does anyone know exactly who has the money now? The US govt. gives grants of millions to corporations when they already made millions in profit but estimated the profit would have been higher. Why did $2,000,000 of tax money go to EXXON when the renamed EXXON Valdez already made $6,000,000 in one year. Note: that happened after the oil spill. My views on a few topics are included here since controversy will stimulate more posting on the board. This is also a good place for the lamers I meet in chat to post insults and make threats. These posts can provide some humor, and will make you wonder how anyone so stupid managed to logon to the internet. It also seems that those types are usually done anonymously, making it difficult to take a threat seriously when the post is by one too gutless to leave a name and address.Free Speech. This is a concept that may not exist. Although the first restrictions about the things said or published were reasonable, the list of forbidden items has expanded to the point where the term "free" does not apply. The requirements of true information or not shouting "fire" in a crowded theater make sense, however when the words spoken or written by the Founding Fathers became a crime, the term "free" no longer applies. Napster. No surprise here. The judges carried on the tradition of ruling in favor of the Big Money interests who pay their bribes ( normally called lobbying) exactly as I predicted in July,2000. There should be plenty of Napster clones to fill the void. Hopefully there will be millions of people who join in the boycott of the RIAA. Menu Post
Election and Pardons. These two subjects are together for two reasons. The first reason being, that's the Law. The second being the fact that millions of people need to get a clue. Millions of people voted, however the election wasn't over until nine people voted to not count the votes of an undisclosed number of voters in Florida. Of the votes that were counted the Law was applied and the candidate who came in second was declared the winner. Hopefully at this point a few readers have got a clue about the principle that each person has one vote.
There seems to be a large number of people who were shocked by all the pardons. Perhaps these are the apathetic ones who did not realize that it is the Law, and that since 1900 the various presidents have used the Law to pardon some 13,000 people.
Now for a little assistance for anyone who may need a little help with the getting a clue. The major attention of the pardons has been focused on Mark Rich, however this man did not need to be released from prison. Mr. Rich happens to have been enjoying the lifestyle of the rich and famous all along, and I doubt that any pardon will have any significant effect on him. Congress and the news media appear to be obsessed with having some kind of major investigation, which will obviously lead nowhere. The Law does state that a president has the power to pardon, without asking anyone for permission, or explaining his reasons. This whole fiasco does not exactly lead nowhere. Big media and Big Brother are actually quite efficient at leading the attention of the American public in the direction of anything as long as it keeps the attention away from the rigged election and away from any awareness of the Laws which enable your alleged representatives to do anything they want in spite of what the people thought they voted for. Gun Control. This subject is quite simple when approached from the perspective of what has been defined by the U.S. constitution and Webster.
Amendment II
A well regulated militia, being necessary to the security of a free state, the right of the people to keep and bear arms, shall not be infringed.Main Entry: in·fringe
Pronunciation: in-'frinj
Function: verb
Inflected Form(s): in·fringed; in·fring·ing
Etymology: Medieval Latin infringere, from Latin, to break, crush, from in- + frangere to break -- more at BREAK
Date: 1533
transitive senses
1 : to encroach upon in a way that violates law or the rights of another
2 obsolete : DEFEAT, FRUSTRATE
intransitive senses : ENCROACH -- used with on or upon
synonym see TRESPASS
- in·fring·er nounNotice that the constitution says arms not guns. At the time when the constitution was written the American Revolution was fresh in the minds of the authors, and the intent was clear. The amendment gave every citizen the right to keep and bear any state of the art weapon invented. This was deemed to be necessary to maintain freedom should the new regime revert to the tyrannical methods of the one recently replaced. Menu Post
Courts and Unions. There seems to be a widespread belief that the U.S. court system desperately needs improvement, however there also appears to be virtually no plans which address the root cause of the problems. We simply need to eliminate the present practice of the courts being controlled by one union. The American Bar Association could easily be called The Lawyer's Union and it is virtually impossible to find a judge who does not belong to this union. This results in a set of laws which use an extraordinary amount of lengthy, seldom used vocabulary to describe the details of anything, in such a manner as to require the average college graduate to refer to a legal dictionary to understand what is actually being said in any of the documents we are obligated to follow, and ignorance of said contents is not considered to be an appropriate excuse for any confusion which results in a non compliance situation. I tried to not use too many 10¢ words in the last sentence. Hopefully it was long enough to make the point about this union wanting the public to continue to pay their members, while they provide the rulings designed to break most other unions. In case you have not noticed the judges who rule on union issues appear to 100% against any other unions. I for one have heard many cases where the judge rules in favor of the BIG Company telling the union to work for the same low rate during negotiations and none where the judge says give the union a raise while negotiating. The rulings also favor BIG companies using the police (Gestapo) as strike breakers. Their claim is to be protecting the peace, however there is never a roadblock set up telling the scabs to turn back before the picket line. We are long overdue to replace the judges who rule the courts with people who base their decisions on fairness rather than filling these positions with members of one union. Menu Post
Drugs. The word itself is part of the problem. The word drugs is used to describe a such wide variety of substances that some have exactly the opposite effect of something else, yet they are both called drugs. This broad definition leads to much of the confusion. Unfortunately a large portion of society as well as many laws classify the chemicals produced by man made laboratories and plants which occur in nature as being identical. The so called war on drugs fails to properly address the economic aspects of the situation. The demand for drugs has not decreased through the alleged education effort. The failure can be attributed to two aspects of the education. First some of the information presented is quite obviously incorrect. Second the educators fail to realize the easiest way to get a group of teenagers to want anything is to forbid them to have it. Another economic aspect involves the wishful thinking that it does not exist. That aspect is the role of the reseller. The middleman in this case is supported by tax dollars and virtually immune from prosecution. Does anyone actually believe people who are paid $37,000 per year are going to confiscate a product worth $3,000,000 and then destroy it in a fire? Perhaps someone does, in which case please contact me. I have a very nice bridge in Brooklyn to sell you. Menu Post
Diamonds. This should get a rise out of the females who read this page. Diamonds are a girl's best friend. Diamonds are forever. A diamond says "love" and diamonds are the reason behind the lovely pictures you can find Here This information was recently presented on 60 Minutes. You can learn more about it from The Washington Post Here Similar things have happened in Angola and South Africa. For once I can say something good about the U.S. Government, there are federal warrants for the criminals known as DeBeers the diamond people. Lets hope someone does one of those unofficial track down and capture operations this time. Diamonds are NOT SCARCE. These people control the diamond market and will stop at nothing to ensure their pile of £billions continues to grow. If you really must have a diamond, please make sure you buy it from a place which ensures that $0.00 goes to the people who support the lovely view in the pictures from the link above. Menu
