CA-100 Flip fone data adaptor This amazing device is much smaller than a pack of cigarettes, yet it will add a REGULAR phone jack to your Motorola flip-style cellular fone! That's correct- this device attaches to your cellular fone and provides you with a regular modular jack! You can plug in a fax machine, answering machine, modem, anything that would normally plug into a phone jack. The adapter provides dialtone when your device goes "off-hook", and provides ringing voltage when you have an incoming call. You could actually attach a regular desktop-style telephone to this device! When you lift the handset, you hear a dialtone. You could dial a number, and your call would be placed via the cellular network! An incoming cellular call would cause your desktop fone to ring! More importantly, this device allows you to place modem and fax data calls with your cellular telephone at rates up to 14.4 kbaud! If you have a laptop, you could be completely mobile and independant of telephone lines! Of course, this device works with desktop computers if, for example, you need to connect to the internet but your home telephone is in use.
These devices cost upwards of $100-$300 from cellular supply houses, and that's only when they can be found. These devices are hard to come by. Hacker Central has them, and at the amazing price of $79.95!
Plus, the manufacturer provides a one year warantee! These adaptors are new in retail packaging. Several cellular retailers are buying these adaptors and re-selling them in their stores for a hefty profit!
Our adapter comes complete with instructions, adaptor box, and cable to connect to a Motorola Flip or Microtac fone (only compatible with Motorola phones). Please remember that this is NOT one of the "acoustic coupler" type adaptors that cannot support fast data rates. Acoustic couplers can only achieve 1200 baud rates, and they often drop your connection if you are mobile. The 2nd generation adaptors connect to the cellular telephone directly, but only achieve 4800 to 9600 data and fax rates. This is a 3rd generation adaptor that uses custom software and extensions to the Hayes instruction set to achieve over 14.4 Kbaud data connections (even higher with the data compression that most internet software now incorporates) and 28.8 fax connections.

CA-101 Motorola Flip- or Startac-style plugs When working on handheld cellular telephones, one of the most difficult parts of the process is obtaining the specialized connectors that attach to the port on the phone. Often, people try to recycle the plugs from a plug-in charger or battery eliminator, but they are often mising all of the important 'data' and 'audio' pins because they only supply power. Plus, the devices can cost anywhere between $19 and $100! The other problem is the plugs are often glued shut or molded out of solid plastic. It is often impossible to get to the correct pins inside.
Whether you want to fix a broken handsfree adaptor or build your own programming cables, you need one of these plugs. That's why we off these Flip or Startac style plugs at Hacker Central. They are specially made to be extremely easy to solder to and assemble! Our plugs are NOT removed from equipment, they are factory-fresh replacements. Cellular companies: Why pay $50 for a Startac cable for your programmer or other test equipment when you can build your own?

CA-103 Universal Cellular Telephone DataLinks/RJ-11 Sockets These items are incredibly handy for going mobile with your laptop and cellular telephone, sending FAXes from your car, or using a credit card terminal 'in the field' (like at a flea market) or for a million other uses.
The problem used to be that cellular data links were only available from the original equipment manufacturer, (such as Motorola or Oki). They cost $300-$500 each, and they only worked on ONE particular cellular model.
There were 'acoustical' adaptors but they were horribly inefficient because they did not make an electrical connection to the phone. They were succeptible to noise and low data transmission rates, as well has call dropping.
Now, Hacker Central brings you these universal adptors that work on many different telephones- all you need is a different cable!
These units work from a 9-volt battery for total portability and simply plug in to your cellular phone with a single wire. That's all there is to it, any device plugged into the phone jack gets a dialtone and can dial out.
FOR A LIMITED TIME THESE UNITS ARE $109 WITH ONE FREE
CABLE. The price WILL go up to $129 before winter.
Each additional cable is $40 (the cables contain hardware that convert the data for the converter box). Flip phone cables are an additional $5
