As a hermit, I don't have too much to say about nightlife- but I am including a bit here. Because if you do find the urge to go out- it should be at night.

One of my best nights in Taiwan- I was taken on the red eye night crawler tour of the city by a very capable tour guide- Minn. We managed not to go to a pub or KTV. As a self declared Night Owl, Mr. Minn knows everything about anything you can do at night. But he doesn't take pictures or make web pages- sorry.

We did the night markets, 24-hour comics shops, the rides around in the mountains, melting in a hot springs at the crack of dawn with the gerries. Topped it off with brekkies at a Burmese place. And I can't remeber at all where those places were. By the end of the night (or morning) I was falling asleep on the back of his bike... Even if I had been awake I am too unfamiliar with anything that lies beyond the city limits- and I probably would not recognize any of the roads.
