What is a Network?

A network is a group of computers that are able to communicate with oneanother and share data, files, programs, and operations.

A network may be reffered to either as a LAN or a WAN

Local Area Network is network that connects computers within a given area, such as a building or an office.

Wide Area Network is network that connects computers accross a wide area, A WAN may consist of computers accross a city or the country. WANetworks my by connected by telephone lines, microwave or satellites.
