Plan and Purpose of
The Dryad Grove
Web Pages
My web site is dedicated to putting information on the web about environmental issues.  I know there are many other sites that are doing the same and probably much better than I am.  But I really don't think too many sites can be out there to bring attention to these vital issues.

I create web graphics as a hobby so I have decided to put my hobby to work.  On the pages of The Dryad Grove Web Site you will find backgrounds, buttons, borders, etc. created by me.  Anyone is free to use them on their own personal pages as long as they link to an environmental website.  Registering these pages is appreciated but not required.  If you want to tell other people about the graphics on my site, you may use anyone of my logos, but that too, is not required.  Your only obligation is to link to a good cause on the www.  All web graphics created by me and eligible for use will contain some sort of Dryad Grove logo.  If there isn't a logo, I didn't make the graphics.

All graphics are designed to be used with a resolution setting of 800x600.  To get your information placed correctly, you need to use tables.

In some cases, I have used the artwork of other people on my site, but if you want to use them on your pages, please have the courtesy to visit that artist's own site to get the artwork.  I have either placed a link on the graphic itself or a credit somewhere on the page to make it easy for you.

Along with my web graphics, you also get inspirational words of what I call earth wisdom (poems, prayers, essays, sayings).  Take the time to read them, they say something important.

On each of the graphic set pages, I have also tried to include an animal or environmental quick fact of some kind.  The entries will look something like this:

Wolf Fact:  The Gray Wolf was hunted to near extinction during the first half of the 20th Century in the lower 48 states because it was blamed for the loss of livestock.

As time has passed and my site has grown so have my interests and ambitions.  I now include animal fact pages, environmental links, games, quizzes, contests, email groups, message boards, and whatever else I can come up with and still have room for on my site.  Everything stays with the overall theme of animals and the environment and I hope everyone that visits enjoys something that I offer here.
