Chapter 18, April 26th, 1999

•The flow of time is always cruel...
•Its speed seems different for each person, but no one can change it...
•A thing that doesn't change with time is a memory of younger days...
•In order to come back here again, play the Minuet of Forest,

•Nez...
 I'll see you again...

I thought that this would be an appropriate time bring this up. But before I begin, I want to make some notes of the above quote.

Yes, more words from Sheik, this is when you are about to rescue a childhood friend that you have not seen in seven years. (One other note I forgot to mention, although not the best, the most EXHILARATING battle in the game is the when you have to face your own shadow. Kinda reminds you for Zelda2, but this one is harder!)

Yesterday was the 2 year anniversary of this web page. Actually, it is even older than that, but I'll just consider it as its "birthday" since that's the date I put beside the counter.

This page has progressed MUCH more than I had anticipated two years ago. Although it wasn't bad before, it was pretty boring stuff (well, okay, I'll admit, the main part isn't too interesting, but it's important). I'm glad I cleared it out all that time ago, and got rid of that HUGE background, which took forever to load. Even with all that, this page still continues to grow, currenlty exploring foreign tongues. Eventhough I know that I don't exactly have a "club" just the many compliments I have recieved made this page all worth while. And at current count of 269 guestbook entries, and many awards, and a high hit counter shows something. Sure, I use these as bragging tools, but on the sincere side, I'd like to thank those that supported my page. Not many actually helped me during its construction, but even the small contributions helped more than expected!

I've had a dream of being cited in a "works cited" list for years... perhaps even since I wrote my first "bibliography," I never thought that I would accomplish it at such an early age. With all the appeal and e-mails, it would be very safe to say that I am on at least 100.

Now that my first year of college is coming to a close, I can look back and see how much things have changed, and yet at the same time, how things never didn't. (BTW, don't say that I'm egotistical, because this page is "ABOUT ME," I might talk about others in the future.)

I'll try to keep this short, and make another part for this... One quesiton that I get often is why came to Rowan University out of all of the other prospective colleges? Without going into too much, my original major was Communications, so why not go to the best program in NJ?

My major is no longer Communications, a major reason why I am trying to transfer in to Rutgers University. Not that I do not like it here, but mor of the mentality to "move on with life." My experiences here have helped me in perhaps everyway possible (other than GPA, but that's another story).

I have no regrets, eventhough some may have the feeling that I'm crazy, but for very good reasons. If one took all the scholarship money I was offered, it would've been well over $200,000. This is perhaps one of the few "bragging rights" that I do have that I don't take advantage of.

As in anything in life, there's always a need for a backup plan. Here are my courses for next semester, should I return here next semester:

  • Accounting I
  • Statistics I
  • Introduction to Microeconomics
  • Intermediate Macroeconomics
  • Experiencing Art
  • Principles of Coaching
  • Self-Defense
