Our Elders Speak Wisdom Council (OESWC) works closely with other organizations and have a goal to amalgamate the various Elders organizations.

OESWC is a program under the umbrella of The Vancouver Aboriginal Friendship Centre Society (VAFCS).

On most Wednesdays at 11.00 am Elders meet for a 'Hot Lunch'.

OESWC volunteers publish this website as well as a monthly newsletter "The Elder Sharing Circle News" for its members with information on issues such as health, welfare, membership profiles, aboriginal teachings, Elder achievements and other topics or links to other interesting sites.
