Another memorabilia day event is in the works for next year.

CALLING ALL FANS OF CRYSTAL BEACH AND AMUSEMENT PARK.

It looks like the final Sunday in July is the day for the year 2000 re-union. In the works are; memorabilia dealers, artifacts, sections of old park rides, waffles, post cards, T-shirts, hopefully Hall's Suckers, candy apples, and most of all - CRYSTAL BEACH FANS who will come from all walks of life.

ON August 29/99 THE CAN AM BIG BAND performed live in Queen's Circle. Nostalgia was alive and well, it drew over 800 people young and old ... YOUR input will determine how well the next one goes. dealers are welcome from both sides of the border. So, spread the word, and tell em the BIG BAND will play the oldies again!!!

The Crystal Beach Amusement Park closed in 1989, but the memory lingers on!

Countless persons from many parts of North America and beyond have been to, or heard of Crystal Beach.  The "Beach" had several "Monikers", such as "Canada's Playground" and "Buffalo's Coney Island".  Whatever the name, it was a play ground indeed, and it's reputation grew from its inception days as a religious campground, through the war years, and finally after several ups and downs, to it's demise in 1989.

This video will take you through the entire era.  Experience the sights, the sounds, and perhaps even the smell of those cinnamon suckers as you leave the park.

Our story will show you how the village was so intertwined with the fabric of the park , that they were almost as one!  You will witness actual footage of  its demolition.  The saddest moment of all, is when the ballroom comes crashing down into a heap of twisted steel and concrete.

You will cry, you will laugh - but above all, you will cherish
THE LIFE   AND   TIMES   OF   CRYSTAL   BEACH!
