Here are some pics that I have gathered for your
viewing pleasures.
These pics may take a bit to load, please have patience.
Here you see an original ticket used on one of the vessels used to
bring people to and from the park in 1947
This is a pic of the beach right beside the pier at Crystal Beach.
This is the bath house!
Here we see one of the 3 Crystal Beach piers used to dock the Americana
and the Canadiana.
The world famous Crystal Ballroom
The mid way in the early days
This pic is special to me. Although the Cyclone coaster is not
in existence any more, the break wall shown here still remains today.
Impressions of the dancers are still etched in the concrete and show where
the Ballroom once stood.
The Cyclone Coaster
The Comet coaster in its early days. Today this coaster is at
the Great Escape in New York. It is ranked as one of the top 10 coasters
of all time. I have added some pics below of the Comet at the Great
Escape.
Another pic of the Comet taken from the Sky Ride.
Here we see our Parks two nurses. Betty and Reta were the Parks
nurses for many years, and were employed by the park until its demise in
1989. These two ladies both reside in Crystal Beach today.
Two of the Parks employees, Joseph Burd, the tracks mechanic (left),
and Claude Vachon, park's security guard (right) This is a shot of
the go cart track that was put in place in 1989 and ran for one year before
the parks closing. It was located near the comet on the left side
of the Ballroom.
Here we see Joe Burd, celebrating his 20th birthday at the track in
the parks final year of operation.

Happy 20th Birthday Joe!
