Eggs in vermiculite.

A mature female will produce eggs regardless of whether she was mated with or not. She can also reabsorb her eggs.

Please do not incubate eggs -- there are already many unwanted iguanas in the world in need of homes. Bringing more into being will not help the problem. You will also have to find homes for all the resulting iglets.

Some people cant bear to just dump the eggs. One good compromise is to remove the eggs and place them in trays and just leave them be without taking special pains to incubate them and ensure the proper temps. This way not all the eggs will hatch, and you will allow the hardier iguanas to hatch on their own. Then you will only have to place those few without feeling like you killed any outright, or have too many iglets on your hands later.
