On the shelf at WN 72, there was a casemate housing this 50mm Anti-tank gun.
This German Panzer Abwehr Kanone (Pak) was placed there in case the Allies managed to get any armour on the beach.
Ofcourse, history learns that this wasn't the case on Omaha during the D-day landings so the Pak-38 50mm gun was used against infantry trying to make it to the exit.
The Pak-38 will be a fully usuable static turret weapon in the finished version.
