FEATURES
This modification is planned to have the following features:

1). The Map:

Omaha Beach: Dog-1 Exit will be an as realistic representation of the Dog-1 Exit as possible.
Using real WWII maps, plans and photograps, the map is will really look like the beach the allies stormed that day.
All structures such as houses, ruins, bunkers, trenches etc. are placed at accurate locations on the map and are build as historacly accurate as possible.
All bunkers are build using real German WWII construction plans.

2). Gameplay:

The gameplay of this mod will feature a number of things that contribute to the realism factor.

Spawning:
The allied team spawns in LCVP landingcrafts waiting some distance off-shore.
Once a number of allied players have spawned inside a landingcraft, it will begin to move toward the beach, where it will let it's ramp down automaticly to allow the players to exit.
Once the ramp of a LCVP is lowered, a random timer is triggered, after wich the LCVP will be blown up by a mortar round and sink.
After that it will respawn offshore to continue the cycle.

Naval Bombardment:
Before the first landing craft hit the beach, off shore ships will delive a massive naval bombardment onto the Dog-1 Exit.
During this bombardment, the German team is adviced to stay inside a bunker to avoid getting caught in it.
The bombardment stops automaticly once the first Allied landingcraft nears the beach.

Additional Equipment:
The LCVP landing craft also carry additional equipment for the allied team such as M-1A1 Bangalore Torpedo's.
These Bangalore Torpedo's can be used to blow holes in the barbed wire defences.
