The US M-1A1 man-portable Flamethrower.
In reality, it was operated by 2-man teams.
One carrying the gastank and flamethrower itself, the other operated the valve on the tanks and carrying extra fuel and weapons for both of them.
In this mod, the M-1A1 Flamethrower will be a selectable weapon for the allies.
For the purpose of gameplay, it will be operated by a single soldier.
Although the Flamethrower is a very effective and lethal weapon, there are some disadvantages:
- The weight of the fueltanks, makes you slow when carrying the flamethrower.
- Damage to the fueltanks can cause them to explode.
- When fireing on the move the player must be carefull not to run into the flames.
Despite these disadvantages, the Flamethrower is extremely suited to eliminate enemy occupants of bunkers and pillboxes.
