Born on a little planet that is mostly water (Earth), in a town where getting the McDonald's was big news (Elkridge, pop. 1200). Was a very bright, if not very hyper, kindergartener. Moved to Frederick, MD in 4th grade, and have been here ever since. President of her school's chapter of FEA (Future Educators of America), and a member of Maryland's first "peace and tolerence" team

Saw a story about the USS Highlander in a local Frederick magazine, joined the ship, and joined SFI 3 months later. 3 months after that, I became the ship's youngest (to date) Ensign. Got promoted to LtJG about a year later. Got involved in the R7DC 2 years ago, then the R7CC. Was involved with SFACS for a short time. Currently R7S2 ambassador and R7CC XO, she has also been named 2001 R7 JR Member of the Year.
