Cadet of the year
This is open to members of STARFLEET and enlisted members. You must also qualify as a cadet according to your ship bylaws. The cadet of the year, to the best of his or her abilities, takes an active role in chapter and STARFLEET functions. The cadet of the year also has a record of good conduct, and shows the potential for leadership.

Science cadet of the year
You must qualify as a cadet according to your ship bylaws. The science cadet of the year has been a continuous participant on their ship's science program and shows a knack for science topics. The science cadet of the year also has a record of good conduct.

Operations cadet of the year
You must qualify as a cadet according to your ship bylaws. The Operations cadet of the year has been a continuous participant on their ship's operations program and shows a knack for Operations topics. The Operations cadet of the year also has a record of good conduct.

Medical cadet of the year
You must qualify as a cadet according to your ship bylaws. The medical cadet of the year cadet has been a continuous participant on their ship's medical program and shows a knack for medical topics. The medical cadet of the year also has a record of good conduct.

Engineering cadet of the year
You must qualify as a cadet according to your ship bylaws. The engineering cadet of the year has been a continuous participant on their ship's engineering program and shows a knack for engineering topics. The engineering cadet of the year also has a record of good conduct.

Security cadet of the year
You must qualify as a cadet according to your ship bylaws. The security cadet of the year has been a continuous participant on their ship's security program and shows a knack for security functions. The security cadet of the year also has a record of good conduct.

Marine Cadet of the Year
You must qualify as a cadet according to your ship bylaws, and you must be a part of the SFMC. The marine cadet of the year has been a continuous participant in their ship's Marine program. The Marine Cadet of the Year must also have a history of good conduct in SFMC and in SFI. They must have taken and pass the PD-10 (Marine Basic Training) to eligible for this award.

Captain's Assistant award
This award is for cadets under the age of 12. You must also qualify as a cadet according to your ship bylaws, but you do not have to be apart of SFI. This cadet shows a willingness to do jobs for the ship and STARFLEET, as well as having an active voice in there ship (giving ideas at meetings, etc& ). They participate in as many ship activities as they can, and always have fun when doing so.

Cadet commander of the year
This award is for the leaders of your cadet department on your ship. They promote your ship actives to cadets, as well as design or modify your ships cadet program, constantly trying to make it better. They have an active voice in ship matters, and are always trying to find new cadets.

Cadet recruitment award
This award goes to the ship that recruits the most cadets (STARFLEET and enlisted) in a single year.

Cadet program award
This award goes to the ship that has the most effective cadet program in all of REGION 7. Their program also helps cadets integrate into STARFLEET International. You may not win this award 2 years in a row unless you have made major modifications in your ships cadet program.

STARFLEET academic award
You must qualify as a cadet according to your ship bylaws. This award goes cadets who have completed 2 or more general SFA or SFMC academy courses, and 1 or more SFA: Cadet School courses in the past year. Pleases include courses name, score and date for each class.

Academic award
You must qualify as a cadet according to your ship bylaws. This awards goes to the cadet who has the beast grades while also participating in other activities (sports, clubs, community service, etc. )
