Mostquitos are omnipresent. They attack your hide ruthlessly, seeking the blood that feeds their almost-vampiric thirst. They are not as thick as to fly up a large nostril, but they are plentiful, loving the areas around your lower digits. The jungle around you is lush, and full of life. You can hear many different creatures around you, and many birds. Deciduous trees rise up from the undergrowth-ridden floor, climbing into the sky to create a massive canopy. Vines and trailing creepers come from the trees, from which many monkeys swing. To the east is the treeline, and you can see a great, large black pyramid in the desert beyond the trees. To the west, you see more jungle, as it gets deeper and deeper. To the north, you see the unclimbable wall of the Taigan Mountains. The cliff seems unscalable from here. To the south, the Ferrall Mountains stand, unscalable as well, leaving the jungle in a valley between the two landforms. Sighing heavily, and swatting at the mostquitos, you rather promptly trip over something large and white, falling on your face....

... And black, for that matter. The Leagus mar yawns widely, showing off a little pink tongue and a lot of teeth, then blinks up at you with bright blue eyes. Abruptly, Blizzard Run sets his big, furry head on your shoulder. You blink, and jump. Hadn't noticed him sneaking up on you, did you? ^.~ He beams. "So we meet again, Wandering Gryph. I see you've met my daughter.. Her name's Ebony Snow..." He grins. "We oughta let her sleep now.. Come on, I'll join you untill you leave the jungle." The mare suddenly protests a bit, raising a brow. "I'm not a cub anymore, Daaaad..." But you brighten noticably at his offer, then grin, nodding, and after Blizzard nuzzles hisdaughter once, despite her protesting, both of you continue on your journey.
