(My prayer talks with the Lord)
Matthew 6:14-15
For if you forgive
men when they sin
against you, your
heavenly Father will
also forgive you.
But if you do not
forgive men their sins,

your Father
will not
forgive your sins.

Commentary:

We serve a true and living God.  We believe in and
serve a Holy and Merciful God.  We pray to and honor a God of Sovereignty and Omnipotent power.  In addition, we belong to a Righteous and Just God.  Yet, above all, a God of Forgiveness and Supreme Grace, which is His middle name, redeems us.  When Christ, the propitiation (substitute for our sins) stands in the gap for all mankind, you realize that grace, mercy and forgiveness are the foundational tenants of our theology.
His supreme love for us does not make Him a sucker for our contempt and exploitation of His grace.  Yes, if we sin, He is faithful and just to forgive our sins, but He Himself is not mocked by our sins.  We, ourselves suffer first hand for the wrongs we do in the flesh, dont be mislead.
We have before us a very strong policy,
term and condition to the Christian belief system
and it is this very principle of forgiveness.
If we do not forgive others, as Christ Himself, died on a tree to exonerate us of our sins and just punishment
(a hellified sentence), so we too are bound
and obligated to forgive others.
Let Us Pray...
The Prayer
Our Father, who is above all, who is the only true and living God, Holy is your name.  The name that is above all other names and the name by which all things are made (Psalms 138:2).   "O LORD, God of heaven, the great and awesome God, who keeps his covenant of love with those who love him and obey his commands, let your ear be attentive and your eyes open to hear the prayer your servant is praying before you day and night.

I confess my daily sins, my sin iniquity as well as the sins committed by me and my household collectively.  We have acted very wickedly toward your mercy and grace. We have not always obeyed your commands, decrees and love-laws you gave via the life of our Lord, Jesus Christ
(Nehemiah 1:5-7). Father, I come to you, humble, and I bow down my spirit and I subject my own personal will before you, seeking your forgiveness in all things.  Lord, you have revealed to me how fragile and vulnerable I really am.  You have shown me how powerful and mighty the act of forgiveness really is, how it purges the soul and purifies the spirit, enabling one to rise above any condition and to attain any success (Mark 11:25).
