Father, Lord God, this is the precious, precious mother of one of your dear, dear children Laura Grgic. Lord you know Laura well, She calls upon your name daily, and she trust in you 100%. Laura never fails to reach out to a sick and dying word with prayer and the gosple. She never fails in reaching out to assist your children in the kingdom. Her good works are known throughout the congregation Lord. We pray they you will sustain her mother through this heart truma and to comfort Laura. Permit her mother to recover and allow Laura good fellowship with her some addition days. Let it be your will Lord to sustain thism family in every way. We stand in the gap for Jeannette hand in hand with her daughter Laura and we put our full trust in You Lord as always, and in all matters, in Jesus' name we pray believing.
Original Prayer Request March 7, 2001 They just brought my mom into Recovery. I don't know anything more than that except that she is still alive. The nurse said it would take about 40 to 45 minutes to get her hooked up with a the IVs and monitors. Then they'll bring my brother, Gregory, in to see her. He should call me to let me know how things are. Pray for him, please. It is always such a shock to see someone so wired up to every conceivable machine and all the beeps and swonks are overwhelming. However, he is easily amused by twinkling lights so that should calm him! (Ha ha ha). Thanks!!!! Blessings and praises! /lg Mar 7, 2001-am My mom is not fine. The reason she felt so frisky yesterday is because it turns out they did not do the angioplasty. 2 major veins are 90% clogged and she had an infarct (dead tissue damage to heart), having suffered a number of mini-heart attacks she was unaware of. The EKG showed this yesterday. Without the surgery she will likely die soon from a very major heart attack, her doctor and the surgeon explained to her. She may not recover use of almost half of heart -- she's in pretty bad shape. They are doing a double-bypass for sure and possibly a triple or even quadruple depending on what else they find when they finally get in there. She was going up at 9:30 a.m. (CST-Chicago) with surgery from 10 am to 2pm minimum. My brother and niece are there with her. I did talk with her by phone last night and I was able to pray with her on the phone which was very comforting for her. What I found comforting was that not only was she very receptive to the praying but she prayed with me, addressing the Lord as well. I am not going up until she is to be released from the hospital (in 2 to 3 weeks) so that I can take care of her when she is at home. I'll be gone for 2 to 3 weeks. This, of course, depends on today's surgical outcome. I've laid my plans before the Lord and am completely dependent on Him, and I continue to pray for His guidance and mercy but am submitted to His will. God is good all the time; all the time God is good! Pray also for my family. I thank God for Stan. Thank you!!!! More as I get the info. Blessings and love to all of you!

Acts 9:39-41 Then Peter arose and went with them. When he was come, they brought him into the upper chamber: and all the widows stood by him weeping, and shewing the coats and garments which Dorcas made, while she was with them. But Peter put them all forth, and kneeled down, and prayed; and turning him to the body said, Tabitha, arise. And she opened her eyes: and when she saw Peter, she sat up. And he gave her his hand, and lifted her up, and when he had called the saints and widows, presented her alive.
James 5:16 Confess your faults one to another, and pray one for another, that ye may be healed. The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much.
