The centerbeam, locally cut ponderosa pine, in place. We would have used more of them (called "vigas") but we just didn't have the time to go to the National Forest, cut them down, peel them & get them up (much less let them dry!)

Today I drove up to Albuquerque to pick up the windows, which will be installed tomorrow.

By the end of Monday 24th the roof was tarred, as far as we go with the budget we have. However, again, it was too dark to take photos when the work for the day was done.
