I
didn't know Marilyn well. Mostly from her posts to the big
L
which I thoroughly enjoyed. Her humor, insite into human
nature and ability
to make people realize what asses they were making of themselves
was
wonderful.
When I recieved my Gail Goodman book and was thumbing through it
I found
this picture of a lovely smooth grizzle parti bitch (or so I
thought). I
immediately called Judy S. and said I found a smooth that I could
own go to
page so an so in Gails book and look at that parti bitch.
It was only later
during a private e-mail conversation with Maz that I found
out that the
lovely dog was in fact an irish marked grizzle DOG! That
dog could STILL
live in my house. He is so lovely.
For those of you who knew Marilyn well, I know that the loss is
tremendous,
it certainly is to this person who only knew her
peripherally. Your kind
words and heartfelt sentiment truly bring Maz close, no matter
what road she
is currently traveling. I hope it brings all of you comfort
and good
thoughts.
