The tour of unusual colors that are not part of the TICA Bengal standard, begins with a smoke spotted boy, which genetically is darkest silver. We call him "Scorch!" He is as sweet as can be, and will grow up to look like a miniature smokey-black panther with his puffy whisker pad. In the sunlight you can actually see a sable color and you can see a pattern of large spots flowing in the characteristic horizontal pattern of the wild cat. The influence of silver Egyptian Mau gives these cats the rare smoke color. The Mau genes also has proven to be a highly complimentary genetic structure to the Asian Leopard Cat for producing wild-type heads and bodies.

Sporting nice chocolate leopard spots on a beautiful soft ivory background and whited belly, this somewhat coy feline knows she looks great! Very typey face and head, if a little large on the ears! She has everything you look for in a Bengal in muscular build and velvety coat, but her color is chocolate instead of brown! Chocolates have a pink nose and pink pawpads and chocolate tail tip instead of charcoal to black on all those points. This color is not part of our Bengal breeding standard, so she is sold as a high quality pet. We call her Coffee Beans.

This is Blue. She is an extremely rare color, blue and apricot. She has a lovely spotting pattern with good contrast, difficult to see in this picture. This non-standard color is not bred, so she is available as a beautiful pet meeting high Bengal standards in every other regard. The blues have a stunning velvety look, and she is lightly glittered.

Surprise! Surprise! Breed a soft silver with a marble mink and what do you get? Well, they both carried the recessive solid gene, and gave birth to two sweet little solid mink kitties (Tonkinese style!) with great Bengal heads! Oh well. But yes, they have spots; spotted bellies and spots that magically appear in the sunlight beneath their solid color just like a black panther and the silver smoke Bengals. There may not be another Bengal on the planet that looks like these two cuties. An adorable pet, we could wean them just in time for Christmas! There's one boy and one girl!
