 Adopting or Fostering The GSP Rescue of WA is a non-profit organization. We have paid for many of the dogs’ special needs out of our own pockets. We have been fortunate to have people donate to the rescue. Our adoption fee is $65.00. This fee helps take care of the costs of removing the dog from the shelter, shots, and spaying or neutering. Donations help take care of the costs for a sick or injured dog. In the future we hope to have more Fun Day fundraisers and other activities to promote these wonderful dogs. When someone is interested in adopting one of our dogs, we encourage them to visit the dog several times in his/her foster home. Once we feel everyone is ready the dog will go to their new home. In the event the home does not work out all dogs MUST be returned to us. It really is rewarding when you see that sparkle back in the dogs’ eyes and when you find the right family and see the connection take place and the bonding begin. You have given a dog a second chance in life! If you think you might have an interest in fostering a GSP, please give us a call and we can talk about it. We’ve had to let so many good dogs go because there was no homes available to take them. Here is the Adoption Agreement and Form to fill out and send in.
