"Sparrow Nest" American Bulldogs is a family setting. Myself (Kim Sparrow), my husband Rick, my son Adam, and my brother-in-law Kyle Sprau. We have two ABs. My first is Stonewall's Cherokee. I got her in the fall of 1997 from Keith O'Sullivan at Stonewall Kennels. She has taken this family by the horns. Even my husband who was very anti-dog. Well, she is daddy's little girl now. She has made quite an impression on the majority of our friends. We have searched high and low for that perfect addition to our family and finally decided to go back to where we started with Cherokee. This time the other Stonewall Kennel partner did the honors,Ray Martin. Ray set me up with Tami Karasek of "Awesome Dog Kennels" They had a litter of babes from Ch.Stonewalls Rebel x Ch. Karasek's L.E. Lexus of Power Play. What a litter. This is where we found "A.D.K.'s Choctaw of Stonewall" We picked him out in February of 99 and brought him home in March. Watch for these two in the shows to come.
We are members of the "Gateway American Bulldog Club. We are registered by ABA, NKC, and UKC. My ABs do not know that they are not people. They live with us as family members and know nothing else. When we go they go. Whether it is a car ride or High school baseball or football games. They have decided that they do not like basketball games though. They are not allowed in the gym. WHAT A BUMMER!!!!! I feel like these conditions make for an all around well adjusted dog. My babies are very social and excepting to the public. They are also very cautious of unknown men and women. I have yet to see a child of any age even get a second knod . This is one of those great characteristics of a bulldog. They have no protection training at all but I have no doubt if need be I and my family would be taken care of. Enjoy our page and don't hesitate to call if I can be of service in any way.
