Hi! I'm sometimes known as the Olde Salt, Pops, Hey You!, Taxman, and on occassion by some names that I won't publish here, but most of my friends know me as Dave. I transferred to the Fleet Reserve of the United States Navy on 31 March 1997 with 26 years of active duty and officially retired 11 months later with a total of 30 years of Naval service.
I am originally from Chicago, have lived all over the United States, and currently I live in the New Orleans, Louisiana area where I am the General Manager of a large Income Tax Preparation company. (Please see my taxation page - still working on it.)
This site is under construction, and probably will be until . . . .
Why a web page?
I have a number of interests that I enjoy sharing with others; Food and drink, the Navy, and taxes and financial management, and a newly generated interest in designing web pages. This page is going to be my working/playing/learning page for a while (;->).
